Level 8-12 & ICCE

International Certificate of Christian Education (ICCE)
The International Certificate of Christian Education (ICCE) offers a distinctive, faith-based educational pathway grounded in the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) programme. The ICCE is an internationally recognized qualification that equips students for higher education and professional careers. Emphasizing academic excellence, character development, and a Biblical worldview, the ICCE prepares students to thrive both intellectually and spiritually.

ICCE Certificates

The ICCE offers a progressive series of academic certificates, each building upon the previous level:

  • General Certificate: Equivalent to the Cambridge O-Level, this foundational qualification prepares students for higher academic challenges.

  • Intermediate Certificate: Serves as a bridge between the General and Advanced levels, providing 7 credits to students.

  • Advanced Certificate: Equivalent to the Cambridge A-Level or Leaving Certificate, this certification is ideal for university entry and career readiness.

  • Advanced Higher/Honors Certificate: An extension of studies designed for students pursuing competitive fields in higher education.

Vocational Certificates

For students seeking a practical, career-focused qualification, the ICCE also offers vocational certificates:

  • Basic Certificate: Tailored for students with significant Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), this certificate aligns with each student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP).

  • Foundation Certificate: Designed for students who begin their studies later or progress at a slower pace, this certificate prepares them for further education or vocational paths, though it is not suited for those aiming for higher academic qualifications.

  • Vocational Certificate: Intended for students pursuing practical career paths, this certificate allows for the substitution of certain academic subjects with vocational courses aligned with the student's goals.

Assessment and Certification

ICCE students undergo continuous assessment, incorporating coursework, projects, and end-of-PACE tests, with a minimum score of 80% required for advancement. This assessment model reduces stress by breaking learning material into manageable PACE workbooks, removing the need for extensive memorization. As students advance, they complete essays, research assignments, and oral presentations, all of which meet the rigorous standards set by the Irish Senior Cycle.
