The school day begins with a 15-minute devotional time, setting a thoughtful and reflective tone for the day. Students enjoy a brief 15-minute break in the morning, followed by a 30-minute lunch break.

Each day, approximately 3-4 hours are dedicated to PACE work, ensuring focused academic progress, while 1-2 hours are reserved for engaging extracurricular activities, promoting a balanced and enriching educational experience.

What do I do if, after a few years, my child has to go back to public school?

There should not be a problem if your child has to go back to public school. In some cases, children might be accepted by showing their transcript without further testing, and in other cases, children may need to be tested before re-entering.

Can my child enrol later on in the year?

​

Because of individual learning, a child can join at any time of the year. However, children of Kindergarten and ABC age, may not be ready to progress at the end of the school year, and they may have to continue the following year in the same group.

We are non-christians. Can my child still join BCS?

​

Every child is welcome in BCS. However, we expect the child and parent to respect our biblical norms and values and for the child to participate in all daily activities.

Will my child be able to get into Irish universities with this diploma?

​

Irish universities, along with universities around the world, recognise this diploma.

Will my child do the Leaving Certificate exam after completing secondary school?

​

​No, students will not do the Irish Leaving Certificate exam. Instead, students are evaluated through continuous assessment, earning the International Certificate of Christian Education which is equivalent to the Leaving Certificate.
